Wynn Al Marjan Island Reveals 550-Metre Beachfront Ahead of 2027 Opening

The Ras Al Khaimah resort has unveiled its private beaches, sheltered lagoon and offshore reef, offering a new glimpse of what guests can expect when it opens in September 2027.

Wynn Al Marjan Island is taking another major step towards its highly anticipated opening, with the resort revealing its completed 550-metre private shoreline in Ras Al Khaimah for the first time.

Set along Al Marjan Island, the new waterfront will be more than just a stretch of sand. Wynn Beach has been designed around three distinct areas — Resort Beach, Adult Beach and Enclave Beach — each offering a different kind of seaside experience.

At the heart of the beachfront is a sheltered lagoon, created to offer calm waters for swimming and snorkelling. Guests will also be able to head out on paddleboards and kayaks, making the waterfront an active part of the resort experience rather than simply a backdrop.

A beach designed for different moods

The main Resort Beach will cater to the wider hotel community, while Adult Beach is planned as a quieter escape for grown-up guests.

Enclave Beach will offer the most private experience, serving guests staying within Wynn's exclusive Enclave hotel.

Across the waterfront, plans include 372 chaise lounges, 61 cabanas and three private bungalows. One of those bungalows will take things a step further with its own plunge pool and dedicated butler service.

It is also a significant first for Wynn Resorts. The Ras Al Khaimah property is being described by the company as its first beachfront destination anywhere in the world.

An underwater element too

One of the more unusual features sits just offshore.

Wynn has installed a series of engineered reef structures designed to encourage the development of a marine habitat around the resort. According to the company, coral and marine life have already started establishing themselves around the reef.

The feature will add another dimension for guests interested in snorkelling while connecting the resort more closely with Ras Al Khaimah's natural coastline.

Wynn Al Marjan Island continues to take shape

The beachfront reveal comes as work continues across the wider $5.7 billion resort, which is scheduled to welcome guests in September 2027.

Once complete, Wynn Al Marjan Island is expected to feature 1,530 rooms and suites, alongside 22 restaurants, lounges and bars, a theatre, luxury spa, designer boutiques, event spaces, swimming pools, a beach club and its newly revealed private shoreline.

For Ras Al Khaimah, the project is shaping up to be far more than another luxury hotel opening. With a purpose-built beachfront, new entertainment and hospitality concepts and a scale rarely seen in the emirate, Wynn Al Marjan Island is set to become one of the UAE's most closely watched resort launches when its doors open next year.
